Oceans of Life
Approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water, albeit most is saltwater. Regardless, both freshwater and saltwater systems are teeming with a rich diversity of aquatic organisms. This website can be used as a reference for a broad range of topics ranging from species identification to ecosystems as a whole.
My name is Seth T. Stone, and I have been in the Biology field for 10 years now. I want to share what I have learned, and my experiences with those who want to learn about the oceans and other aquatic systems. I have a passion for understanding the world we live in, and how to protect it for our children and theirs. My goal for this website is to educate and inform the public, and for it to lay the foundation of a marine conservancy group. I want this conservancy group to play an active role in raising awareness, cleaning up our oceans, and most importantly, for it to provide opportunities for students that are pursuing a career in marine and ecological sciences. Every person that is exposed to this information is helping us take one step closer towards safeguarding these amazing organisms and their habitats.
